Today, on 6th January 2022, Hon’ble Shri Santosh Gangwar, Minister of State for Status, Government of India inaugurated Oxygen Production Plant at Rajshree Medical Research Institute, Bareilly. The plant has the capacity to produce medical oxygen up to 800 lpm (litres per minute) and will provide oxygen therapy and respiratory support to persons suffering from COVID-19.By absorbing nitrogen from the compressed air, the oxygen generation plant will be able to produce a continuous stream of medical oxygen at 93 percent purity and will now be able to support 500 beds per day with an uninterrupted supply of medical oxygen at maximum requirement. India was hit by the second severe wave of the Kovid-19 pandemic in April last year. Its importance is especially well known for meeting the huge demand for medical oxygen.Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Rohan Bansal, Managing Director of the Institute said that all modern medical facilities are available in Rajshree Hospital and the institute has taken care of Kovid-19 positive patients during the last corona period with the help of its expert doctors and trained nursing and paramedical staff. and has made a significant contribution to the treatment. In view of the lack of ubiquitous oxygen in the last wave of Kovid, the oxygen production plant that the institute has set up today will definitely prove to be life-saving for the patients. He said that this plant would be very helpful in serving the needy people in the district.
District MLA Dr. DC Verma ji, who was present in the function, appreciated the work done by Rajshree Hospital for public health during the Kovid period.
